The Town offers an inviting four mile stretch of beach strand with 44 public access points accompanied by exceptional recreational opportunities. The elected officials, residents, and town staff take great pride in their community and invite visitors to enjoy the true character of the coastal Carolinas.
The Town Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Town, oversight of the five municipal departments and 84 full time employees. In addition to responsibility of daily operations, the Manager coordinates the development and implementation of local policies and ordinances, interfaces with citizens and other government agencies, and develops the annual municipal budget.
